Saxelbye Defibrillator

Great news - As of 19th February Websters Dairy have kindly reconnected the electricity supply to the Defibrillator and it is back in use. Longer term the Parish Council are looking at options for this, and maybe to relocate it to the telephone kiosk nearby.

Background: Following Websters Dairy in Saxelbye ceasing to operate the Saxelbye Defibrillator had to be decommissioned. The unit had a supply of electricity from the dairy. More »

Landline outage

Updated 01.03.2021 - The duct/track has been dug and we are awaiting a date for the new cabling to be installed.

12.02.2021 All landlines should be back to normal now following the temporary fix. The work on the permanent fix will start Monday 15.02.21 and could take several days. It will involve digging for a new underground duct/track and then getting the new cabling installed. Further phone/internet interruption could occur to complete this work. More »

If you do not have your own number following the crossed lines, please let the Clerk know.

Background: 8th February approximately 21.30 there was a loss of landlines for most of the parish. Followed by crossed lines during the temporary repair. If your landline is still affected please report it to your phone provider. To report this to BT phone 0800 800 151. » Less

Parish Council Meeting 11th January 2021 Minutes and update

The minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 11th January 2021 are now available on this website.

The outcome of the GRC First Tier Tribunal came too late for this meeting. The Black Horse continues to have ACV (Asset of Community Value) status; after the appeal against the ACV status, raised by H D Wakefield, was dismissed by the judge.
